The chest, or dresser, measures 44 inches wide by 38 and three quarter inches high. Measures 19 inches deep at the sides and 22 inches deep at the center. Period English Georgian two part butlers secretary c 1820 with pierce cut pediment. This is one of the best English secretaries we have had in years. Measures 49 and one half inches wide, 81 and three quarter inches high. The middle section of the top is 12 inches deep and the two sides are 10 inches deep. It is 33 inches to the writing surface which slides back to reveal four secret drawers. Excellent hand cut dovetails. Divided light doors.
