Antique German porcelain figurines
Antique German porcelain figurines. We believe this pair of porcelain figurines are French copies of Sevres or Meissen originals, made during the 19th century. There is a good possibility that they were made by Edme Samson, a 19th century porcelain repairer whose Paris firm became known for copying German, French, English, and Chinese porcelain. The marks he used were variants on the letter S, depending on what he was copying. These figures are quite lovely. This item has been appraised by us, to obtain the appraised value for this item, please click onto the STORE PHOTOGRAPH above or the home logo below and then click the SOLD ITEMS LIKE KIND ARCHIVED APPRAISAL SECTION HOMEPAGE insert item # 3519 and fill out the form provided.
