Antique handmade American Centennial Hepplewhite mahogany corner china cupboard c1880. This corner cupboard is in excellent condition with original finish and box wood inlay. Made from two pieces. The bottom has two curved inlaid doors made from solid mahogany, that measures 36 inches across, 21 inches deep and 31 inches high and has one shelf. The top is also made from solid mahogany, inlaid with boxwood in a ribbon and bow design. It measures 49 inches high with and additional removable 11 inch top inlaid pediment, 36 inches wide and 21 inches deep. The top has three adjustable shelves. The overall measurement is 91 inches or 7 foot six inches. Mahogany Federal style settee double chair back, rolled arm, upholstered seat, straight tapered legs. This mahogany Centennial Federal settee window bench dates from the 1880's. This diminutive settee was hand made from the finest matching mahogany. Measures 47 inches wide by 21 inches deep, 35 and three quarter inches to the top of the back and 18 and one half inches to the top of its seat, 25 inches to top of arm. "Antique Centennial Chippendale Mahogany Arm Chairs". This pair of antique Chippendale armchairs retain their original hand made needlepoint seats. Each measures 21 and one quarter inches wide and 37 and three quarters inches high. Inside dimensions are 20 and one half inches wide between the arms, 18 inches deep to the back, 19 inches from the ground to the seat top. They are 26 and one half inches high to the tops of the arms. Solid, well constructed by hand, excellent details in the carving, done by hand. Circa 1880 to 1900. These chairs are so great that we thought they were first period. A set of this quality from the first period are extremely rare and would sell in the $80,000 + range if one can find them.
