| Antique boxes,"document boxes" This period American mahogany document box is in pristine original as found condition. This early box measures 12 inches wide by 8 and 1/2 inches deep by 6 inches high. The top handle and the two front draw pulls are both hand made brass and original to the box. A couple of the interior wood partitions have been replaced. The sides of this early American box were put together with the most finely done dovetails that run from top to bottom.
