| These "Antique Horace Bundy Portrait Paintings" measure 41 inches by 34 inches at the frame and the images measure 39 and one half by 32 and one half inches. Horace Bundy, portrait and landscape painter, born in 1814 in Hardwick, VT, died in 1883, Concord, NH.Worked as an itinerant artist in New Hampshire and Vermont during the 1840's and 1850's and was also a licensed Adventist preacher. Only 17 portraits done during this time are known and all were done in Springfield, VT or Claremont, NH. Oil on canvas on masonite board, restored 20 years ago.
