| Early Georgian hand wrought iron trivet kettle stand c1780. This iron pot stand or trivet is signed by the maker on the underside with the initials I B. The entire top surface was cut from a single piece of flat iron and then hand forged to form the open work design. The back has a penny foot and the front legs were formed form a single stock of iron that was hand welded by a master blacksmith. This period trivet measures 8 and one quarter inches high by 15 inches long and 7 inches wide. This is a true work of art Shipping extra.
